One option to speed up Windows 11 is to disable autostart for programs that do not need to be launched upon system start-up. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Launch the Task Manager using the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Esc].
2. Switch to “Autostart”.
3. Check the “Status” column for programs listed as “activated”.
4. Select the entry of the program you wish to deactivate and right-click on it.
5. Click on “Disable”.

Quit yer lying, ya SOB. On good days, mine takes a good 5 minutes. On bad days, it can go over 10 minutes. And I'm using Win11, the worst windows I've used so far. My Win 7 used to boot up under 2 minutes. I ain't sure if it's the windows or it's actually the HP notebook (the worst hardware as well IMO) that's the culprit.

I have Win 10... So am dreading Win 11... But...

HP Crap PC... Bingo... HP... A manufacturer of GREAT printers... Which gets them GREAT reputation... and with that reputation they sell sub standard Desktop and Laptop and Servers making great returns on margin/profits for their markups... It's a great gig... Please... Anything HP PC... Just Say No... (except for their highly rated printers).

I use one Desktop, with 6 - 10 monitors; 2 notebooks, with 1-2 monitors each, and never turn any of the units, nor the screens off.

Have functioned that way for decades, occasionally replacing a monitor. All on UPS, in case of electrical outage and/or spikes. Currently using Wind 10 pro. I suspect electric bill savings over many years would still be minor, especially vs the crash / problems, just starting-up equipment every day.

How many years do your monitors last on average ??

These are tools. Know how to "sharpen" your tools. Some people know, other do not. And some don't know it is possible.

For BIOS, consult your manual
For Windows Right click the task bar: task Manager, Startup. Disable the bloat wear. Edge startup is very "costly".

Do a clean install and stop adding recreational stuff to a work machine is best.
