How long does it typically take to get an LEI code?

From my CTO: It took 1 day after the payment step for me, but granted we did this with DTCC's GMEI utility. I submitted it at 11:25 AM ET and got the confirmation the next day.

I think the LEI process has changed (DTCC no longer issues LEIs) since then, and I have no idea of Interactive Brokers's process, but it should take no more than 1 day.
