How long do you hold?

Out of curiosity, how long do you folks hold your trades?

I know that for some, it's tough to nail down a specific time frame... For example: My mechanical system ranges in hold time from 5 minutes to several days.

You're contributions are always appreciated.

when i was younger, i'd try to hold out as long as i could.

nowadays i find myself having to work to finish much quicker.

Daytrading, usually 1 to 5 hours.

Swing trading, average of 1-2 days on a losing trade. Once the trade is winning, average is 5-6 days.

in trading, my average hold is < 3 min. On the telephone, when I get sick of the music, I hang up.

My holding time for winning trades averages 2'00 (losers bails out much quickly).
In the last few months, my longest trade lasted 3'59.
It took me some time before i find my beloved time frame.
