We could just create the money. It is our sovereign right as a nation.

But, I will tel you...

Its what the FED does when

it "expands its balance sheet" by trillions after putting money in its members accounts with a key stroke and then those members or agents go out and buy almost worthless debt.

Or.... when it loans out trillions it creates with a key stroke.
Or... it buys trillions of U.S. debt by creating trillions of dollars with a key stroke.
Or, it puts money into the system by creates money other ways.

A few trillion here or there and you are talking real money.

By contrast the US does not print US dollars at will... It asks the Federal Reserve to create Federal Reserve Notes and if there is not enough money in the account, the US borrows them at interest.

I have no idea what you think "just create the money" means but good luck with that.
