I helped work on an advertising campaign for Allison Truck parts in early 90s (a friend's company). You have me an idea. The missus who loves photographing the moon wants a car with a telescope built in that comes out robotically... But a full semi.. That would be something..

Thought you guys used bidets.

Using a 53' trailer, a high quality mount, a custom refractor telescope array with narrow band filters, and cooled monochrome CCD imaging for deep sky objects, I could travel throughout the North America, especially during winter for some truly impressive imaging. As my fantasy would frequently involve high altitudesas in mountain tops, I would need to bring a snow plow.
