How is retail day trading anything but a gamble?

It's great to know what doesn't work,
We all have our own circle of competence.
There are plenty of way to make / lose money.

Just find yours.
Thank you for your encouragement.

I hope I don't have to find my way to lose money. :)

Riiiight, so some called anonymous big swinging dick (with small dick) needs to prove to a bunch of small time anonymous ET'ers that he's a somebody, LMAO.

A Chateau Latour 1953, Monsieur est un connaisseur a ce que je vois !
(Yes I do speak french too ;))
Thanks for the tip, I will try that restaurant next time I am in Paris.

It's an incredible experience: https://letaillevent.com/fr/

My other favorite one is in Florence, which had an even MORE incredible cellar than the one in Paris; I witnessed all the MAJOR wines going back to the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s...

For my birthday, I had an 1889 Armagnac at Taillevent. The following day, I was at the museum with my girlfriend, and we saw a painting that included a bottle, from 1886. We both wondered, that it could have been the bottle we had last night!

Taillevent, followed by an 1889 Armagnac...

You have absolutely proven that ENVY is the root of all Evil. You dumb ass.

And to think that I have enjoyed this life since late 1999, when I first drank a Latour 82, at One if by Land, Two if by Sea, in NYC. I was barely 23. That must burn @themickey, and I am loving it...

Glad to know there is someone I can look up to and I am not being sarcastic but saying that with genuine respect and admiration.

I have only been full time since 2010 so have a lot of catching up to do. You are so right, timing, or luck is so much a part of our successes. The moment I read that I know you are the real deal.

Best regards,

PS: Thorp and Gross are two of my favorites, both had offices in Fashion Island, Newport Beach and both lived there.

Dear @ironchef,

Hate to admit it, but luck does play a major role in trading success. That is the truth...

Just for you, NO need for Anonymity. I can meet you face to face, anywhere in the world. I will be free in September, when things hopefully somehow return to normal.

London seems to be a good destination. I always stay at The Connaught Hotel. I love their restaurant, Hélène Darroze.

But I will probably just see you for coffee at the bar, if you have any balls...

So let me know @themickey, keyboard tough guy, well, more like my personal Mexican Piñata!

Oh, and I am a tough guy. I BASE jump (since 2003), just to clear my mind...

lost 2 trades on the short side so far this morning on ES. Shorted at the VWAP line on a doji candle for a stop out. Then tried again after another run up to the value area high level and stopped again.
Now I've gone long (3204) as it looks like the federal reserve are throwing a few trillion at it again so expecting a little more upside

What methods do you guys use chart wise on the ES?
