How important is the use of Take Profit

We always give more importance to use of stop loss in trading but I think this take profit is also important. This will simply save you from the evil of greed. What you think about it?

You must truly understand the current state of the market you are trading at any given time to determine if your winners merit holds or nibble exits.

There is not a one size fits all solution.
 
But we cannot be in front of the charts all the time to access the market situation so take profit is a must thing for me at least. Every time is not the same but still we need this tool.
