i may be new here but far from new in trading.

how can one equate market experience with ET posts? i'm not sure if you realize ; a lot of people who trade never heard of this board, especially those oversea's like me.

i will read your link, but still believe this is destined to end bad.

I agree that there will be lots of regrets and crying eventually, but sometimes the journey is more interesting/important than the destination.

I mean there are plenty of stocks that are overvalued with 200-1000 P/E ratios and they are still the darlings of the investing world. So why can't bitcoin be one of them, even if just for a few months/years???

It is alright to join a bubble and profit from it as long as you are aware of the risk and you know that the song can stop at anytime....

You are fully entitled to believe that this will end bad. But it would be much better if this opinion is based on profound knowledge about the subject (just looking at a quote running up very vast, isn't enough).

And I have to admit, understanding this Bitcoin thing is hard. It has so many properties and opportunities in its protocol and currency, it's hard to grasp. It took me 4 weeks myself.

Here is what I don't get about the "it will blow up later" and "this will end badly" point of view. Why would I and why should I give a flying f**k about how it ends, if it blows up etc. I don't think any of us think it is ending in the next few weeks or even months so a trader can make his judgements based on Chinese buying or Martian selling or whatever.

Now if you tell me the gyrations make it more difficult to trade and there is easier and or surer money to be made trading equities or grains or ping pong balls I get that. But I reall do not give a f**k what will happen months after I take my profts or losses. I just do not get why anyone would.
