Well, circumstances changed, in my opinion. And an average gain of $3.50 on the 1100 calls is quite fine by me (X50).

In the interest of full disclosure, I washed (broke even) on my 1075 calls, as I covered today at $5. But its better to wash, than get hosed.

This was posted and time stamped end of last week. I meant every word I said. I exited all positions. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart. Although the technicals were telling me to exit the market, maybe the technicals knew something ahead of time...
 
explains oh so very well why 1050 was absolutely meaningless in the first place, since the initial 38.2% retracement targeted the 1074 handle, and the 50% retracement will target the 1160 handle.

Beware of Egotistical Morons that give absolutely NO BASIS for their forecasts other than blowing a bunch of hot air!

Great call!

Just goes to show, no matter what anyone says, trade according to your own convictions, never be too stubborn, and if you're good it will show.

This concludes a year of excellent calls. This latest is really my best one. I wasn't married to my belief, as I let the technicals + my own noodle make the final decisions. As i've said, paying $5 for the 1075 call looks cheap to me! And paying 50 cents for the 1100 calls, oh boy! I'll sleep well tonight.

Last thursday I posted that I bought S&P Dec 1075 calls @ $5 and Dec 1100 calls @ 50 cents. If you had followed my lead, you'd be a rich man just two trading sessions later!

That's why this thread is the most popular trading thread there is.

This thread is full of accurate trading information with no gobble-gobble.

ps. congratulations to those who voted that the S&P could rise to 1100 and higher in 2003! You were right! I hope you capitalized on your good insight.
