and I even managed to get out of my worst trade of the year with a very small profit so I am not complaining. Still holding some puts which may or may not pay off but it is a small position.

IBM puts paid off nicely.

I predict the s&p500 will bouce around but will continue its uptrend until about the 1175 area in 2004 (no real resistance until then) then a retracement would be in order. Looks like a gap up tomorrow.

Too optimistic. Careful.

We should see the mid-cap indexes and small cap stuff submit to heavy profit taking and a ROTATION into large cap names, which would obviously help the Dow and S&P.

Even if the S&P 500 were to correct back down, it will be very interesting to see how some of the large cap "value" names trade relative to the market . . . it could be a sign of things to come in the next rally phase.

Defense stocks look interesting here.
Earnings due out starting tomorrow and into late next week.

The market has topped around 1050, just as this thread predicted when it started.

It's too bad that there are so many here that cannot see how efficient the call was. And it's really too bad that such an accurate call was met with much rebuke.

It's too bad, but I'm here to tell you that i'm not disappointed that ET'ers are unable to give credit where credit is due.
