Having loads of money and gold diggers only after me for it, sounds like a good problem to me.

There is two things you might be confusing : getting rich vs staying rich.
The person you are describing above are working hard to get on the "poor ladder" or to finish on the poor ladder.
You should go and do some volunteering in soup kitchen : you'll be surprised of how many people went from very rich to poor. Also, there is a good reason that a rich person main fear is to be poor : one fast lane to poverty is the mindset regarding dating.
Ahhhh but there the wise ones, they made it, they had fun blowing it, they just lived longer than they expected, much better than dying with unspent money in the bank.
