How Does the World’s Largest Hedge Fund Really Make Its Money?

Dear Steve42...

You are too kind... You should consider donating some of you time to a Food Bank or a nearby Hospice or adopt a kitten or two.

What i wrote was easily and accurately based on deductive and inductive reasoning derived from evidence of the long article on BW & Dalio and from reading alot from other sources about BW and RayD. For example...

""""Soon enough, Bridgewater got it both ways. A few months after Mr. Otemurat’s Westport visit, the Kazakh fund asked again if it could invest in Bridgewater’s funds. This time, it dangled a sum far larger than $15 million, and Bridgewater assented, former employees said.

A spokesman for Mr. Dalio said all of his interactions with government officials were proper."""

Mutiply this by 1000s of interactions and you have Legal Insider Info... Can you grok that. o_O

Also, if it is not to much effort Try to remember that even Harry Markopolos, who uncovered Madolf 10 years ahead of the SEC and 'HE' flat out called BWater a ponzi scheme... which I did not.

You seem to have a hard time keeping up. That is so sad.

The only thing they win at is enslaving your mind such that you believe and type idiotic things like that it's pure idiotic drivvle and I do things that bring me productivity rather than spread rumors about others wealth that I don't even have any first-hand knowledge of and even if I did it wouldn't help me any at all

You seem to be out of touch with Reality... God Bless... :sneaky:

Yeah that's pretty awful I guess it's not worse than the benchmarks though and that's the point for them yay we don't suck as much as the average is their marketing I think

It is a hit piece. Wonder if someone is angry with Ray Dalio.

The first part reads like a detective story, whereas the second part largely confirms the Dalio's book about how the fund makes money, at least the pure alpha fund.

Reading Principles left me with the impression that his methodology is based on long term cycles and he has coded his strategies to make them automatic. I think he does have an iSight that he’s not sharing. I also think that he advises authorities that can make his cycles come true, a self fulfilling prophecy.

I somehow doubt interns are making two to 10 million per year Good for them if they are

The interns are making like a hundred and if they get hired, hundreds out of the gate with a path that a decent percentage will get to the 2-10mm range and the failures will still earn several hundred a year.
