How do you use time-stops when trading stocks?

It’s just a visual. Chart is easier to read if it’s 45 degrees based on the scale. Point is if a stock underperforms it gets cut
So adjust the time scale to obtain 45 degrees?
I still don't get it.

on long term basis, I cut stuff based on the following:

- across different asset classes, if yields don't make sense no more, I cut.. years ago gradually cut off LQD JNK stuff because the yields got worse;

anything going up less than 35 degree angle gets cut lol.

Great points;
dividend yield can make a big difference; on a time stop. I don't like to exit last 7 o 7.777 minutes; entry then is fine.
If 80 or 95 % of angle is log or chart scale; I seldom look @ that time measure.:cool::cool:, :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
