How do you unblock internet proxy from local ISP?

Hi,

I am located in Dubai, and good boys here seems want to take care of everything including voip (internet telephony like skype...) and i do make lot of overseas calls.

Someone told me of a software which don't remember name, once you connected to internet, it starts up and automaticaly searchs all ports which are not yet blocked by local ISP.

Software has pics of a guy with long nose? i tried some softwares from internet, they didn't work or i couldn't set them up manually

You need to set up your own private proxy outside of Dubai, through with you tunnel all your traffic, encrypted. One possible solution http://www.vedivi.com/ but it's just a question of time if and before they block it.

If you want to do it all by yourself you could start at http://openvpn.net/ and do some Google searches on tunneling, ssh, vpn. When you get something set up please let me know.
