I'm learning to swing long calls and puts, I didn't see much difference from swinging stocks if you get the trend direction well.
I think swing trading options is a dumb idea. If you look on a delta adjusted basis, options are wider in spread then stocks. And then you have to get the vol and gamma/theta component right to make money. Worst scenario, you are right and don't profit because you got the velocity of the direction wrong.
