I'm just going to use this thread to keep a running log of my thoughts and strategies...
Right now I have SPXL that is looking good for tomorrow based on futures so far. I want to sell it tomorrow, hoping that the stimulus bill will pass through Congress.
I'll sell it after that happens but then I want to buy the inverse SPXS in preparation for the jobless claims report the next morning. If all goes as planned, I'll buy SPXS just before close tomorrow, or maybe in postmarket.
If the stimulus bill doesn't pass tomorrow, then I'll probably sell and hold nothing because I don't know if the pending stimulus vote or jobless claims report will be the larger force.
I don't have funds in any account that can trade futures contracts right now in case you're wondering why I don't use futures for the increased leverage.
