How do YOU come up with trading ideas?

All there is now are third world dreamers

Yeah, even Nitro has left for greener pastures. It's retired pretenders, and young third world type dreamers.

Interesting correlations between the rarely a losing day crew at elite. I think every single one of them hail from the Midwest -- apparently a large concentration in Arizona---- Hmmmmmmm

An overwhelming large percentage reside in the mid to southwest area of the United States. Not sure why this is--- bored retired folks living fantasys on the Internet, perhaps?

Keep in mind, we are likely dealing with old bored retired pensioners here. These gents don't mean any harm--- just take their words as dreams and fantasy. There are several on this site. Mostly hailing from AZ the land of the elderly.

rightsized, helmholtz, kreditfyhig, MARKETSURFER...

a bit mental/obsessive.. another casualty of trading in the markets...

As you can see from above, self contradiction is rampant , just leave the old folks alone.
I thought they all moved to Palm Beach, FL, and joined that shady PBHFA organization.

:p

I learned much from following the surfer. I thought he moved to Palm Beach with his young wife and market winnings? Why the bad vibes what I miss?

Not directing this to you specifically but there are a lot of new posters the last couple of months who seem to have been around the ET "block".

surf is simply another who couldn't - and because he couldn't..., feels the need to project his inadequacies/ inabilities onto every one else

he is also a liar

pretty straight forward actually

There are no shortcuts here, traders have to watch/study those stupid charts for years and years, day and night, until something clicks.

Then, at some point in time, the persistent trader will simply run out of things that do not work.

Good points T 777;
easier said that done.

While the original turtles learned to trade quick[weeks];
most do NOT have a teacher like Rich ''turtle''Dennis. But having said that,Rich Dennis did not even interview most of huge number that responded to his Wall Street Journal ad .

One chicago trader said '' the smarter you are the longer it takes'',LOL

I am not an original turtle; i got thet nickname ''turtle''as a child hood insult,LOL but true.

You can be against anything in this website no matter how popular so long as you don't go overboard. Surf went overboard with his anti-TA tirades, interrupting virtually every poster who so much as mentioned using TA for trading. That and maybe some vendor violation got him banned.

I know it wont come from books on amazon or CNBC guys with suits (they all have one thing in common - to sell their services/business to retail investors);

Agree , on CNBC, kas;
disagree on retail comment + book comment. Jack Schwager's Top Trader books are unusually helpful + priced right . Many librarys stock his books.
Another Chicago trader says '' the smarter you are, the longer it takes'':cool:

Not that one believes everything in those books mentioned;
but very HI %%% is helpful .
