How Do We Deal With Guys Like Thad Cochran?

if ricter and aaa are in agreement I have to examine my position on the issue.

And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress among nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring...and now Ricter and AAA break bread together. It's over. These are the end times.:eek::eek:

A third party will just split the vote and hand victory to the Democrats.

Likely true, but a third party might be able to peel off working class whites from the democrats if it had a populist orientation, particularly against a phoney like Hillary.

A third party effort would certainly be motivated by disgust at being marginalized by the republican establishment. Basically, a game of chicken. They feel we have no where else to go and will not want to elect Hillary. We feel like if we're going to be ignored, why should we support them? Really, is Hillary that much worse than Jeb Bush or Chris Christie? We survived her husband and Obama, we can survive her.

"We survived her husband and Obama, we can survive her. "

You're maturing.

We need to keep at it and keep moving the party to the right. This process will be a lot easier than starting a third party from scratch. Third party candidates may be able to win some seats in Congress or the Senate, but we must go all the way and win the presidential election as well or we end up back to where we are currently. Only by winning the presidency can we truly reverse course.

Coming up with the right candidates is vital. This means more Ted Cruzes and Mike Lees and absolutely no more Christy O'Donnells or Sharron Angles. We lost a couple of good opportunities by nominating these two broads.
