How do I find option symbols back into the past?

For example, in 2008, there were option symbols such as:

.HLFSH
.DQRSP
.VMWGJ
.PJNGD

I couldn't find their historical data before expiration in 2008, not even their symbols in Yahoo Finance.

Where could I find them? I wanted to review some imaginary trades back into that historical time...
 
I ran into this same problem a few months back. I wasn't able to find any site that could offer free historical option data. However poweroptions offers a (free) 14day trial and I think it has everything you're looking for. I'd recommend checking it out.

I happened to have been familiar with PowerOpt. Which menu allows me to do that search on historical symbol and data?
