How do I collect my dividend?

Will it be automatically credited to my trading account, when the pay-out date comes?

Or, Will I need to file something with the company and wait for a check in the mail?

You have to visit the company at your expense, and demand your dividend from the wallet of the CEO

your broker will collect it and put it in your account per declared dates.
