How do I calculate the cost for the spread between buy and sell quote?

True. You don’t pay the spread twice or even once, rather it’s half each time.

One of the reason’s I prefer ECN broker is that there is zero broker interference in the trade. Like with fxview, forex.com, ICM, I’ve never had the problem once in trading where I was re-quoted a different price. Because I’m an intraday trader, every second and pip matters and such re-quoting could affect my profit.

There’s a difference in the spreads. Traditional accounts offer fixed spread like 2 pips while ECN brokers offer variable spreads.
