How do famous swing traders like Dan Zanger size up so fast?

This woman is an idiot.

Successful Traders who shared their strategies.
1. Toby Crabel
2. Mark Fisher
3. Mark Minervini
4. Trader Vic
5. Welles Wilder
6. John Bollinger
7. William J O'Neil
8. R.N. Elliot
9. J.M. Hurst
10. Tom Hougaard
11. W.D. Gann
12. Linda B. Raschke
13. MY MENTOR!

Beware wanna-be traders who continue
to put out that mantra.
Nailed it.

And that's why you still can't generate any profits? Exactly as I said, one can't emulate trading success and no successful trader ever shares their edge with others.

Elaborate on what exactly?

They still did it, though. Plenty of people who did not capitalize on it.

You had my curiosity...but now you have my attention.

Care to elaborate a bit on that without revealing any secrets?

Dont quite get where you are coming from or where you are going..
Its proven in the Zadeh trading championships that you can emulate success..
The fact that several of the winners "trained" under former champs would illustrate that you are
off in you "beliefs"..

Perhaps no one will share them for FREE is a bit more accurate.

More to the point, and I have learned this from training and coaching in athletics, the mental/emotional part of the game is massively undervalued. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you arent wired right, greatness is a longshot.

Case in point,I followed Kullamagi for a while, and literally got dizzy looking at his successful entries on stocks that I wouldnt touch with your money..

there are lots of people sharing pieces of trading strategies publicly and privately on this site for free. The posters on this thread are unable to see it. Instead they focus on these “gurus.” While those that do, are busy earning.

It’s pretty sad.

Over the last 11 years, I’ve made a lot of money from strategies offered here, specific trade opportunities, and mentions that led to research that led to a trading opportunity.

Agree 100%..Most of the pikers on this board are more interested in "being right" than making money

And if you are looking for the grail, good luck on your journey...

You can train someone to learn the trade but there many traits that can't be learned to be a good risk manager. One has those traits or one does not. You can't magically change a person's DNA makeup. That's not just my belief, thats what every seasoned trader with long term positive track record will tell you and what the original turtles experiment also revealed. Very few who possessed those inborn traits made it, the rest fizzled out and went for other careers.

What surprised me about your post is that you start denying the above but in the latter part of your post say exactly what I just stated. Without being "wired right" you can get all the training in the world but won't make it. Wired up for me means what you are born with, not how someone shapes you.
