How discipline helps in trading

Discipline = Habit
You can build it step by step, take baby steps and experience the power of incremental progress.
"Inch by inch life's a cinch. Yard by yard life is hard."
The temptation of shortcuts is the devil.

All boils down to the seriously mentally inflated consequences of doing the right thing... Even though doing the wrong thing has been killing you all this time, all you remember is the VERY few times you were insanely rewarded.. something a good system tends to not do. It simply plods along, grinding up the equity with little excitement..

Quote from Joe Ross:

Have you been flying into any of my traps? I wait for trades that meet my expectations, trades that fit my plan. I wait patiently, and being kind-hearted I don't want any of my readers to land in my web. I'd rather the unsuspecting are readers of someone else's newsletter. But it's amazing how often I get to feed.

So whose traps do you fly into when you get stopped out?

I am assuming Gary Smith's traps. :p

You do get stopped out, don't you or are you a ninja trader exiting a tick before reversal every time but always squeezing last tick when in profits? :D

Great plug for drumming up newsletter business by the way.

Cheers.
