How did everyone do today?

Seems like everyone is trading futures nowadays. Any one still trading stocks out there? I wonder, with fewer people trading stocks would there be less competition, which would result in cleaner trends or would it be the opposite.

I trade ETFs as swing trader. Made nice multipoint trades on BBH, ICF, IWM during last 4 days.
 
What a wonderful start! I just thought it could be better. Bought low at the open. Made easy short term gain in less than 15 minutes and also keep some for long term prespective, a 100% up room to go! Let's see.

Thanks for posting. This is really good stuff for everyone including me for sure.

The last thread got shut down so I didn't post hours on Grob109 it is low hundreds (lol) but I fly from 1 hour after close until sunset except midsummer. I've never had a forced as yet. x country and acrobatics are my favs.

Wow! The G160 could give the Extra turbine a run for its money. Thats pretty sweet a smaller version of the Pilatus. Did not see anything about US certification for them.
 
this is way OT from this thread, but how much does an airplane like a grob 109 cost? also, where do you keep it? if you owned one, can you fly it whenever you want or do you have to schedule times at an airport?

1 more thing! while you're up there flying around, is there any way of making sure you don't hit another plane or do you just hope you don't?!?!

Hmmmm, well not sure about the cost. You'd keep it either at the nearest airport, if you don't like the busy ones you can usually find a non-commercial service airport nearby where you would keep it either tied down on the apron, rent a sun shade, or either buy or lease a hangar.
You do not have to schedule times at an airport.
If you are flying from a busy one, you "get in line" and request permission from the air traffic control tower to take off and they will get you in line to do that.
You have to keep an eye out for other traffic (airplanes) and when you are in the process of taking off or landing there are procedures you need to follow so that either departing or arriving traffic are moving in one direction.

There are alot of airports that cater to GA (small aircraft, biz jets) that have no air traffic control tower and you tune your radio into the airport's frequency and request other traffic nearby to call out their location.
 
Aircraft for you personal use (like a 2 to 4 seater) are in the $30,000 to $300,000 range depending on how much speed and what type of avionics set up you want. You could buy a used decent C172 (Cessna 172...4 seats) in the $35,000 range for any thing from local area flying to longer cross-country flying (going on a trip...say 500 miles away). People usually rent a hanger at their local airport for anywhere from the $100 to $250 a month range (do not keep your aircraft tied down outside...do not be a cheap skate with aircraft...they do bite, and hard!). First you need to get your FAA issued private pilots license...check that out first. Hope this helps!
