How did everyone do today?

Did well surprisingly, considering the little trading plan I had.
Took nothing more than 4 ticks / trade on the NQ. (avg of 3ticks)

Morning bottom pickings and reversals mostly.

More trendy days should be ahead of us.
Keep your heads up guys, this was just another one of those days...

a good day. not in my top 10, but good nonetheless. made 8% in my futures account :) was buying pre-market last night as the nikkei was falling off a cliff.

Good play, but what was your reasoning for buying last night? I was expecting a pop at the open, but mostly from short-covering.

Try putting the NQ chart next to your ES chart.
 
gap support in the ES... plus we already had a big down day yesterday. this whole month, buyers have been very stubborn. didn't think they would just disappear as we saw in the AM.

i'm flat now as the bears seem to have regained their strength. tomorrow should be another interesting day.
 
Closed out 3 swing trades 2 winners 1 loser (long chir +$55 & shrt idti +$457 should have been way more :mad: and lost on long pbr -$387 = $125 profit incl comm. not bad, could have been better though. How did everyone else do??
 
Seems like market only wants to reward bears with balls -- trying to initiate shorts intraday is an exercise in pain and futility. Only those willing to sit overnight can cash in I guess (that was a quick 70 NQ points since Tuesday, eh?).
