How did Anek make a 100 grand today?

i'm quoting the whole thing below because much of it echoes my sentiments. i read the thread, did my own research, and have been incorporating parts of it into my trading strategies, expanding my world of what i can trade, feel comfortable trading, etc.

i do well enough, but i want to do better.

there are other people who show setups similar to what AHG does...and i suspect that the large intraday swings near EOD really help the setups out, but i don't understand all the hate, esp. when he's not selling anything, not trying to promote himself but get others to contribute, etc.

remember his thread about giving up one of your setups? instead, [EDIT: the thread] degenerated into a p***ing match...

I dont know him, he doesnt know me, I participated in the early discussions of the AHG thread because I found a group of people that seemed to have a genuine desire to hone their craft. I felt I needed to move on from scalping stocks for nickels and dimes if I am going to move to the next level.

Rearden, Anek, Red, and a few cool hardware dudes make putting up with all the detritus worthwhile.

Interesting read. You don't have an easy job, that's for sure.

It's true, I began trading futures in December of last year but I was
transitioning from equities to futures and I wanted guidance in the
process. However, I had half a decade in the bag from day-trading
equities with decent success. When I didnt have discipleine, I took some nasty losses in the beginning years.

Like I said, you helped me make a successful transition to futures and for that I have to support Puretick. The service is good, even better for newbies, especially when everyone else out there I have experienced either trades like a lunatic or can't trade at all. And those that can trade well leave monkeys trading for them, that obviously, don't trade as well as them.

I'll keep in touch and for what is worth you should be proud of what you have accomplished with the room so far. I'm sure there is lot more to come.
