How Dictators Come to Power in a Democracy, Forbes, 2013

Obama was a dictator. That is why we have ObamaCare now. :-(

Exactly. Extreme liberals have such short memories. Remember Obama lecturing Republicans that the Democrats won the election. Now, the shoe is on the other foot and in their hypocrisy, slam President Donald Trump for putting forth his policies? "Do as I say, not as I do."

Often growing up and studying history I wondered what the actual experience was in 1920s Germany for ordinary educated people. You think how could they possibly have not seen the bigger picture and suddenly they were outnumbered by what seemed a bit of a cult?

Well now its pretty easy to understand.
Well said. I imagine that the US has better checks and balances in place than Germany did at the time, but even so. It is amazing how things can change, and how quickly.

Then you get enough shits like this guy and his cohorts, and you realize that anything is possible:

I had a dim memory of an interview where Orson Wells described meeting Hitler when he and his party were still considered a bunch of "cranks".

Its interesting how he observed Hitler was an 'invisible' 'unremarkable' personality, until you added the background seig heils of 5000 people.

Enough to send a chill up your spine. Trump would have been no less unremarkable were it not for Daddy Deep-Pockets.
