Bernanke, in a particularly slimy and weasle-ish way, just told Congress that although he decided to hire Blackrock to deal with the financial crisis (someone tell me again why we need a fed reserve if they have to hire OTHER PRIVATE financial firms), he had no idea how much they would be paid, or how they would be compensated.
