How can i see my portfolio on IB Gateway?

Hello, Due to TWS api conncetion issue when i am sending automated order from NT8, i want to try IB Gateway api. But, seems like i can not see my portfolio on Gateway. If i open TWS api, gateway disconnected. All these disable my strategy on NT8 and manually enable strategy and trade setup broken.
How can i see my portfolio on Gateway api, or any solution TWS api disconnect issue. strategy wneed to work 24/7.

Use TWS. You don't have to use gateway.
 
TWS disconnect very frequently i got market data farm error or server reset etc.. all these are disconnecting. thats why i will try gateway

IB Gateway is just connection to IB without GUI. If you want to show account data or portfolio, your program (NT8 or custom made program) must access IB's API via IB Gateway and show it.
 
Both TWS and Gateway use the same connection method to IB's servers. So if you have intermittent connectivity issues with TWS it is likely that you will also have intermittent connectivity issues with Gateway.

Edit: you can not use both at the same time. IB does not allow this. If you log on to one, the other will automatically get disconnected.
 
I see my portfolio /executions on NT8, just wanted double check it executed or not on IB side.
I am trying IB excel api to monitor it now, if i can achieve connect to excel api :)

You can use both TWS as well as Gateway to connect your excel api to.
