How can i get some more information on the money paper?

This morning we were talking about this OLD commercial on CNBC. You know , with the lady in the radio booth answering questions about "the money paper". I mean is that chick still even alive? I guess this says something about my age. Or my past obsession with CNBC. I think this commercial was running back when it was FNN. Boy am I old. Jim

that is the dividend reinvestment plan it think. she advises you to buy stock directly from the company.
in this age of cheap commissions why limit your options? seems like an idea whose time has passed.
