How can I build a system where one monitor sits on top of each other?

Right now I have couple of monitors besides each other. But I would also like a monitor on top of another monitor! I don't want to spend a lot of money buying expensive systems. I can probably hold it up there on my own, but how can get my Windows to recognize this format? Is there any software out there that lets me do this
 
on XP:

right click on the desktop, choose Properties> settings.

drag the monitor icon to mirror the physical position.

Done !
 
Oh wow I didn't know we could do that! I just knew about the side by side option :D thanks alot! I am going monitor shopping now :D
