I am not hating on anyone here. But now that this day has finally passed. All the hype and hoopla for what? if you are lucky, a 7-10 point pop?? so much for making 50% in a day I guess.

The real action this morning was at your local Best Buy. The store out here in our super walmart/target plaza only got 30 of the newly released PS3's. Talk about an IPO debut of limited quantities.

Apparently, there were people who got fills on PS3 pre-orders for $599, but turned around and were selling them in the parking lot for $3K, straight cash. How about that one for risk and reward??

One of my buddies, who trades full time is getting both consoles actually. I dont know how he can fit it all in for one day. A Blueray gaming experience does sound very appealing though.
 
I guess this might be too personal of a question for some, but does anyone really consider $180,000 to be a lot of cash?

For myself, throwing 2-300000 on a single trade is not unusual. When I look around NYC I see players who are much richer then myself all the time.

I suspect that there are guys who throw probably upwards of a million in a trade all the time. Actually, when I go back through the price/sales there are definately blocks being traded and sometimes they are not by big institutions like you might think, but by individuals.

These guys were fools. I will NEVER pay $3000 or even $600 for a Playstation. It doesnt matter if I have a billion dollars or a thousand dollars. It wont happen.

The feeling of getting ripped a new one outweighs all other emotions. Im not going to let some hack sell me a Playstation out in a cold parking lot for 3k. I would rather wait until after Christmas and have the feeling of getting a deal then feeling like I got ripped off.

When you have come so far and devoted so much work to wheeling&dealing, the thought of this tears the root of your soul...
