Our currency buys less, Food and gas prices are rising, but it's great for large corporations. Well why couldn't Caterpillar make it's numbers.

I really thought CAT would benefit from the low dollar, surprised to see earnings like I did on Friday.
lol cat,jnj,utx,aa and tons of others had disppointing earnings even with the weak $.the weak $ good for stocks scam is just another gig for the powers to make people buy stocks. the $ dropped many time in past market meltdowns. go back to the 90's the powers would change back and forth and would say both a weak $ and strong $ were good.the only thing thats changed in the market the last 50 years is stocks aren't being punished when they miss. cat which ran 50% in 6 months falls a lousy 4% on a 20% miss? thats damm laughable
