The Last stocks I traded were Lycos and Amazon in the late 90's when I had to squeeze trades in before going to work and hold them for a week or even a month with Lycos one time.
Nowdays, I'm looking for a basket of about 20 stocks to watch and pick from for day trading on 5 minute charts.
Something in the $15 to 30 dollar price range.
Want to be flat at the end of the day and start anew the next morning.
Any suggestions?
How about a good online stock screener recommendation?
If it feels good, down the road will look at blood simple options trades, say, take entry and exit signals off the chart but instead of buying the stock, buy puts and calls at around the 50% Delta, see if I can get the beak wet. Want to
move consistently toward defined risk option trading over the next few years. Defined as in - you pays your money and you takes your ride, knowing exactly what the Max Possible Pain is, no ifs ands or buts, and going from there.
