Not even for BTC, but for the blockchain! That is/was the valuable part of the business.... but if illegal docs are stored in there and for it to work you need the entire chain on your pc/storage... that's just nuts... nobody innocent would want to be involved with that, surely.
I didn't even know you could attach stuff to the BTC chain, I thought that was Ethereum's thing...
It reads like images and not just links to images were attached to transactions "comments". An easy fix for new coins (don't allow comments/hyperlinking/image), but don't know about existing blockchains (may require sw change through consensus or forking).
In any case, news is a day old, and market didn't seem to care.
