By suggesting adequate anti flooding measures are installed seems to me to be just the opposite of your view. I take no pleasure in seeing people suffer. If the shortcomings of the local politicians are not pointed out by someone they are much more likely to continue. Right ? The hurricanes won't be stopping. The next one will be along soon enough.

Well only against twats like you and Speedo who are basically prejudiced against good ideas and must have IQs below 50 as you can't tell the difference between right and wrong.
You sound like the sort of idiot who would build a major city on a swamp in a hurricane area, with poor flood defences.
I expect the flooded residents may have legal claims against those responsible.
