"Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal on the House floor at the Capitol on January 13, 2016, in Atlanta.
(CNN)Under increasing pressure from major corporations that do business in Georgia, Gov. Nathan Deal announced Monday he will veto a bill that critics say would have curtailed the rights of Georgia's LGBT community.

The bill -- House Bill 757 -- would have given faith-based organizations in Georgia the option to deny services to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. Supporters said the measure was meant to protect religious freedom, while opponents have described it as "anti-LGBT" and "appalling."
The measure was met by outcries from major players in the business, tech and entertainment industries..."

When Trump was asked about his position on the other day on CNN, he said he'd have to study the matter and the "fine print" before commenting. When the interviewer asked Trump to just comment on the issue in the abstract, Trump declined. He had to "think" about it. So much for The Man Who Speaks His Mind. He first had to figure out how to position himself with his base and not piss off even more of those he hopes to win over. He's no different than the people he rages about.

ha, ha, you democrats have turned your mind (what was left of it) over to your trusted media. When Trump doesn't play by what you have decreed as fair rules you go all ballistic and complain "Trump is an Outsider and He is not playing by Our rules!"

He blatantly hedged rather than spoke his mind. This from the candidate who is celebrated by his supporters for speaking what's left of his mind.

The evangelicals never learn. They keep fighting battles already lost, and that only a handful of people give a shit about. On the top ten things of importance this shit ain't on the list.

Trump is always negotiating. His first bid or offer is totally ridiculous. The media wants to be big time players and get into the negotiation with absolutely no risk. He's a lot more polite to them than I would be.
