House approves bill that would admit Washington, D.C., as 51st state

So...the thing is there are red states and blue states, but almost every state has significantly red and blue areas within them. I grew up in CT, a solid blue state. However, it's only the cities that are extremely blue. Bridgeport, New Haven, and Hartford will vote 80-90% reliably Democrat. Most of the towns lean red and some are very red. There's not that much unity within states.
Not geographically, right now it is smaller than WYoming and they will shrink it even more. Population right now is even but after shrinking it the space will be really small even though yo umight have 450,000 people.
We can start with giving Republicans the confederate states and some people will just have to move.
If slavery wasn't the issue I would have hoped for a confederate win.
The south would probably look more like South Africa today.
They would have been begging to come back.They needed black people or union states tax dollars to survive.
Yeah, of course it would take a lot of thought and attention to detail, while looking for unintended consequences.
But really and truly, clownish thinkers need a country of their own. Then they can show the world just how superior their "thinking" really is.
