Hottest IPO of the year ... THI

For my American friends who are not aware of Tim Horton's currently owed by Wendy's (WEN).

They are coming out with an IPO symbol (THI) in the end of March for Tim Hortons Inc.

NYSE and TSE listings.

Tim's is a Canadian icon with a market niche that is going to take the US by storm and I personally believe it will see revenue growth of 500% in the next 5 years, once full scale US penetration is begun.

If you know anything about the IPO, let's share it here!

Back up the truck on this one (as Cramer would say) if it's priced well.

Goldman Sachs is the lead...trade date March 24th.

I would say 20 or under. Food is not a hot sector currently.

True, but coffee is! Healthy food, good coffee, special coffee. It should do quite well.

Anyone know when its going to open?

This offering will be oversubscribed. The average retail investor doesn't have a chance at getting a piece of this. Personally, I think it will be a very hot offering. Should get priced at $23.

My only caveat, if you are a retail client and are able to get an allocation, then you can be assured it won't 'pop' after the IPO.

No IB can't get any, only part of the underwritting group will get allocation.

Goldman in the States

RBC in Canada

You can buy it through IB the next day after it's release.

When I was in Canada,I used to enjoy TIM Horton's coffee. Definitely I will get into their shares. I think I owe them that. TIM Horton's for Canada is like Dunkin Donuts for USA.
