Hi all,
The following data was recorded within seconds of each other and each one was sometime between 10a and 4 pm.
HOD=Horizons Beta Oil Bear ETF
Mar oil taken from www.livecharts.co.uk
Date..............Mar OIL..........HOD.TO
12-Feb..........$35.69............$35.35
13-Feb..........$35.56............$38.19
I realize there is rollover but I thought it occurred earlier than yesterday/today.
I'm also aware that HOD may track April contracts by now but the changes in price usually swing with March oil.
Indivicuals buying HOD could drive the price above norm but this is about $2.50 above a buying spree. It is way too much.
Since I hold HOD I'm happy with the price but I find the pricing of the units get erratic at the end of the month and I'd like to be able to predict these kinds of shifts and can't at the moment.
I was wondering if anyone had specific information that could explain this price behaviour.
Is there a site or a post that would give me some details?
Thanks,
Eric
