I look at it this way, there are things that feel right, and things that feel good .....

It's bizarre, when you think about it. The stats say up to 8% of all males are homosexual. Just think about that next time you're at the basketball game or walking through the mall. It's truly weird. 8% of ET members as well, I guess. And we know who the most likely candidates are.

Actually, you have a point. I guess it's not necessarily right to assume that the asshats/latents who believe that homosexuality is a choice (and I notice you did not explicitly and unequivocally state in your reply that you do believe it) are 'extreme right'. Many of them may be simply right wing, but messed up by religious indoctrination.Quote from Lucrum:
You're not the first to call me "extreme right wing". What's funny though is that according to several on line political orientation tests I've taken I'm actually just right of center with a dash of libertarian. I've posted test results in this forum. Either ALL of those tests are bogus OR the ones accusing me of being too far right. Only think so because THEY are so far left.

First, you know what Twain said about statistics. I notice yours are uncited but I have no doubt you could find a gov't. survey which fit the requirement. I could also find one that fits mine.
Since the most common number is 8%, let's be conservative and say yours is way closer, and that it's 5%.
Still, you have to think about that. 1 in 20 guys. That is truly weird. Again, just think about a basketball game. Glance around. 1 in 20. It's almost impossible to believe.
It's quite entertaining to see the closet fags/religious freakjobs calling homosexuality a 'choice'. I've read some of your posts and you seem to be one of the less confused commentators from the extremist right. I notice that you were compelled to include the slash in your characterization of homosexuality as a 'choice'. That's your common sense forcing its way through.
I'm probably overly optimistic in believing that a few courses in genetics and a basic understanding of chromosomal expression in humans would put an end to such nonsense. The idiots who believe that homosexuality is a 'choice' probably don't have the reading comprehension skills necessary to understand the material.
Got a link for this bit of conjecture?Quote from AAAintheBeltway:
The government has wasted tens, maybe hundreds, of millions searching in vain for the gay gene.
Glad you brought up the Prejean example. I admire her for being honest about her feelings, even though she was the last person the extremist right wanted on their side. 'Let's see... you're against two free people acting in a way that does no harm to anyone else, and yet you send the message to extremely impressionable teenage girls that they should mutilate themselves in order to make themselves sexually attractive to men? Ummm, yes, okay. Maybe a little less of it, Carrie'.Quote from AAAintheBeltway:
eg gay "marriage", you get the Carrie Prejean treatment.
You mean the 'Just fucking leave us alone and quit telling your children we're monsters' agenda? Yes, right. A highly destructive agenda, to be sure.Quote from AAAintheBeltway:
There is plenty of intolerance in this country , but it's mostly on the side of the gay activists and the institutions they have either coopted or frightened into supporting them and enforcing their agenda.

Oh come on. There's plenty to admire, generally speaking, about someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind. It's pointless to bring up the examples of insane dictators and say 'See? They spoke their mind and they're insane, therefore it's never honourable to speak one's mind'.Quote from dsq:
There is nothing to admire about that.We do not admire hitler, david duke, osama for being honest about their feelings do we?
