Not that its a pig.... but I just cashed out my long term long position and went short. Its at or near an all-time high... and for real, they aren't building any new stores to speak of. Soooo . Its a growth thing.

Bought some ITM puts just now at $136.80.
 
Funny ...I remember in the past and even today that home depot has the worst customer service...people I know won't even go there and would rather go to a mom or pop store ...funny thing is even after 10-20 years of hearing this the stock still out performs. It reminds me of McDonald's stock where everyone bashes fast food and talks about how bad it is yet McDonald's stock over the last 10+ years has also skyrocketed..... Just interesting to see companies where people complain day in and day out out perform and actually see their stock price move up...

HD is still a good short over earnings.
 
According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 11 analysts' forecasts, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $1.95. The reported EPS for the same quarter last year was $1.71.
August 16th....plenty of time for it to zoom into earnings....
