30 May announcement:
http://www.newswire.ca/news-release...securitized-mortgage-portfolio-625380423.html

Liquid assets:
Thu 25 May: $720 million ($1.07 billion - $350 million credit line)
Fri 26 May: $720 million ($1.07 billion - $350 million credit line)
Mon 29 May: $740 million ($1.09 billion - $350 million credit line)

Credit line usage from the $2.0 billion facility:
Mon 22 May: $1.40 billion
Tue 23 May: $1.65 billion

GIC deposits:
Fri 26 May: $12.260 billion
Mon 29 May: $12.208 billion

Despite the decline in GICs of over $50 million on 29 May, liquid assets increased to $740 million. This is probably a result of a decline in loan (asset) balances. (Loan repayments result in an increase in cash but a decrease in loan assets).
This theory is supported by the announcement on 30 May about the company's non-securitized mortgage portfolio:

"the Company projects that outstanding non-securitized single-family residential mortgage balances will decline over the course of the next few quarters to approximately $10 - $11 billion at year end 2017, compared with $12.6 billion as at March 31, 2017."

Fri 02 June announcement
http://www.newswire.ca/news-release...date-on-liquidity-and-deposits-625993183.html

The total liquidity figure of $1.11 billion is comprised of:
undrawn amount of credit line $350 million
company assets $760 million

Interesting to see that the liquidity of $1.11 billion has steadily increased since May 25 and May 26 when it reached a level of $1.07 billion. This is an increase of $40 million.

Since that date, HISA balances have declined by about $3 million, and Oaken balances have declined by about $2 million, and GIC balances have declined by about $81 million.

However despite these declines, liquidity has increased - probably due to loans repayments, and a decision to reduce new lending.
