Say what you will, he had the courage of his convictions. Cost him work and money to take the stand that he did. RIP

I've always liked the guy even though I didn't share his more recent political views. I've enjoyed his work and I'm sorry that he died. However, I don't think his political views made him any more or less of a patriot than anyone else who stands by his convictions and wants what he truly believes is best for his country as a whole.
