Lots and lots of $$$$$$...its all about corporate greed and making their bottom line...how many more retailers are going to open up their doors early on Thanksgiving day? Why dont they just stay open 24/7 and keep their doors open on christmas day as well...
I say fuck it. Why don't these pathetic corporate greedy fucks just finally admit that its not about the holidays, but about increasing their revenues and profits and stock price.......bring me back 50-150 years ago when Christmas was Christmas and Thanksgiving was Thanksgiving ..when holidays actually meant something...when families actually got together ...its not the same anymore and never will be...

thanksgiving evening is a great time for parents to shop. They've eaten, taken a nap, watched football. They can easily get the kids ready for bed and leave them with the grandparents.
 
My family won't support any store that opens on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Haven't done it for years.

For those of you who don't mind giving them your $$$, imagine if it was your wife, daughter, son that had to leave your Thanksgiving dinner early to go work at Nordstrom, Best Buy, Macy's, etc. Fuck them.
