Holding over Eco. reports

What do you do when economic reports are scheduled in the middle of the day, like 10am, 2am etc? Wherein you are holding a certain position?

I ask since I've had winning positions quickly reversed at times because of this, now I try to avoid them and wait for results before moving again, but it does cut a lot of profits on trades that are moving my way.
