Holder prepared to dismantle Ferguson’s police department if ‘necessary’

Attorney General Eric Holder said he is ready to take all steps needed to reform the police department in Ferguson, Mo., including potentially dismantling the force.

Does that mean he will just leave Fergi without a police force, that would be an interesting social experiment.

I missed the law that gives the AG the authority to do this. Probably it's in the invisible ink part of the Constitution where it also gives Obama authority to write his own immigration and environmental laws.
