so far today TF 2 minute I discern that the "opening" was a bit volatile and then drifting higher, nothing much.....

you don't use volume do you ? thanks

I don't use volume.

Quote from NoDoji:

I don't use volume either, mainly because I have no idea what to use it for or how to use it.

is Red Neck around ?

Should I review TF today, not sure I saw or learned anything specific, I could probably make up several trades though ?

Allow the sending of PMs for at least a few hours, and I will send you a volume tip you can use via ET.

EDIT: Done

Quote from wrbtrader:

People that say trading is easy or simple....they're veteran traders.

In addition, today's markets are too complex, uncertain, ambiguous, frequently changing intermarket relationships and globally connected.

Therefore, when a trader says he/she is using a simple method or keeping it simple, that is a trader accomplishing such because he/she has a deep and complex understanding of today's markets...something a newbie trader can only obtain after many years of trading experience.

This is the reason why simple methods can be easily learned but extremely difficult to apply in real trading conditions until one obtains enough trading experience.
deep complex outlook can be decvieving,markets are really simple,like the sea, dont take your boat out in high storm,most boaters dont,traders should do the same

Yup & Yup

And do that - first you must recognize what it looks like, so then you can identify it while/ as it is being created

I gazed upon a ming vase today, and what I saw was a clay pot suitable for holding flowers

===============

See any struggle(s) between buyers and sellers

See any pressure to drive price one way or the other – and the ensuing failure(s).., or success(es)

See any trapped traders

See any levels where price just couldn't break through… or reach... or busted through without hesitation

You observed at the 10K foot level - we got to get down and dirty with it

==================

So today’s chart is created – review it and find conditions/ levels / direction where you could have entered and profited

Make note of how those appear (the conditions prior to, during, and following ...

Monday look for similar

======================

Today PA told a story – read today’s chart bar by bar and find it

btw, for me, reading a static chart is much harder than a live... but we gotta start somewhere
