hit my goal, now what???

Why are people haters on here? Does anyone help anyone these days?

I am leveraged too high for some people but use it responsibly and stay consistant, have a plan when opening a position and follow that plan.

For the full year ending Jan 2006 I made an 800% return bringing my equity to 800k. I will admit that about 200k of the gains were because of luck. The rest was from a well thought out strategy I came up with during the losing years.

In Jan 07 I continued trading the account and gained an overwhelming 500%. The new strategy is still working. Remember, I am trading only futures and options.

With returns like this....you are for sure the best trader on this site and perhaps the world.

If you really have any money at all, I agree, take half out and continue trading the rest. What you have done probably won;t last forever.

Care to share your strategey? 500 to 800% returns...wow, you should enter some trading contests.

Can't wait to hear more!!!!!!

Contact jack hershey or whatever his new disguise is these days and have him put you in touch with spydertrader and in the new year you can triple your take with no losses and always in. .. How sweet is that?

wht makes u think 800% per year isnt possible
if ur arnt as successful as others keep ur comments to urself

even if with so much leverage u cant achieve those returns then u shld consider quitting

This is a year end review. I have been trading for six years and have made money the past two. I started with 125k six years ago and in Jan 2006 I had 100k. So I was losing a few percent per year. I decided to trade options and futures exclusively in Jan 2006.

My account stands at $3.7 m because I withdrew some for personal uses. My question to all the other ET is should I retire while the going is good? I know that this can't continue on forever and I may move the money into cd's and index funds for safety. I only need about 150k per year to suit my current lifestyle.
Only 150k per year?
:D

I did not say it isn't POSSIBLE!

I guess I am the fool because I am not making 800% returns per year....therefore I should quit!!!

I am not discounting the returns. I got in a great trade last year and made a mint.

I am discounting the need for the advice of others. If a guy takes 125K to 3.7MM He only needs to search himself. It's obvious he did something right. I am not there yet, I have a little ways to go, but for what I had and lost and started over again, I don't need the advice of others as to whether I should stop or keep going... LOL.
