Historical Tick Data: IB vs. OpenTick ?

Anybody already tried ESignal through TWS ?

From my understanding it would be possible to use TWS as an API proxy for ESignal, their API is more than crappy.

Issues ? Symbols same as IB servers directly ? Java CPU useage with many ticks ?
